Full Journal pdf1994-01-10 House Journal Page 2000 HB 55 A memorandum dated July 27, 1993, was received from Speaker Barnes regarding: CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 55 "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan program expenses of state government and to capitalize funds; and providing for an effective date." (Chapter 65, SLA 93) "I am appointing Representative Harley Olberg, Representative Mark Hanley and Representative Jim Nordlund to serve on a legislative committee to review the status of the Harborview Developmental Center. It is the intent of the legislature in House Bill 55 (CCS HB 55) to work with representatives from the Department of Health & Social Services; Superintendent of the Harborview Development Center; Hospital and Nursing Home Association, and the Alaska Mental Health Board." The memorandum is on file in the Chief Clerk's office. A letter dated September 22, 1993, was received from John J. Schnabel stating his resignation from the Alaska Minerals Commission as of November 1, 1993. The letter is on file in the Chief Clerk's office. Letters dated December 1 and 16, 1993, were received from Darrel J. Rexwinkel, Commissioner of the Department of Revenue, regarding the unobligated balance of the Debt Retirement Fund, the FY 95 debt service appropriation and the general obligation debt principal. The letters are on file in the Chief Clerk's office. A letter dated October 12, 1993, was received from Daniel A. Moore, Jr., Alaska Supreme Court Chief Justice, to Speaker Barnes and President Halford, stating that pursuant to AS 24.60.130, he had selected Shirley McCoy to serve another term as a public member of the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics commencing January 1, 1994. The Speaker referred the reappointment to the Judiciary Committee.
